Talking about love, almost everyone has a chance to love a person in their life. Love is a common affection that exists in people's heart. You might see the news on TV that some old entrepreneurs and movie stars, who have large property or great reputation, fall in love with young, pretty ladies, and marry them without caring the criticism from the society. If these men, aged, could chase their lovers, we young people might have more proper and strong reason to create a love story in our youth. As the saying goes, “schoolwork, club, and love are three required courses in the college life.” We students have more oppertunities to face this delightful activity. But as some students would be flunked in some subjects, not everyone could handle their love affairs very well.
Many people think that teenagers have less steady and faithful relationship nowadays, and those young people consider that being a cheater is far less than immoral; on the contrary, they just seek a relationship or the third person to experience so-called “stimulus”, but they still love their counterpart the most, and they strictly distinguish the one who is their true love and the other with whom they are just dating for fun. Being two-timer is not the only behavior of the modern society, but it exists from ancient time. Nevertheless, the sense of guilt seems to being decrease, because they consider they can control their sentiments to be detaching from the third person when needed. Some of my friends told me that after being two-timing other person, they would cherish their girlfriend/boyfriend more than before, because finally they realize he/she the one who fits them on the world or he/she is the one who treats me most deliberately. It seems that cheating makes people retreasure their relationship, but it is definitely an illusion of cherishing love and being love.
The people two-time on their counterpart are those being good at dealing with others and they tend to be more extroverted and confident. On the contrary, there are a group of people being their contrast, and those people usually dedicate themselves in their study and research, and all their core of daily life is finish the text books or pursue better grade, and they emphasize on their appearances far less than decorating their text books with notes. Therefore, they have less chance to meet new people, and when going to a party, they do not know how to start a conversation with the person whom they admire, and hence they are getting less and less confidence in making friends, not to mention accosting girls. I have those kind of friends as well, especially in Tsing Hua university, and I notice that they are not ugly at all; they just do not know how to being fashionable or they reject being stylish because they will be uneasy when dressing up those clothes. As a result, they give up seeking the person they admire and if they meet, they tend to just make friend with him/her even they love him/her, and sometimes they reject falling in love since the relationship would disturb their lives being more complicated. The common reason of them is "too complex", and they deem their computers are the best and ideal mate for them.
As the time went by, the conception about love also changed gradually. There are many new products such as computer, Internet, "idol drama", and fictions would affect young people's attitude about love. This phenomenon not only subverts many conventional thoughts in people's mind, but also creates a lot of problems, such as the rising rates of committing suicide and divorce. The number of the people in these two extreme types, which are two-timers and digital lovers, grows higher and higher. Therefore, the schools begin to take these problems seriously. In the new semester, National Taiwan University is going to start a class to teach you how to deal with love. Whether you are going to attend this class or not, or whatever the attitude you choose, remember, finding your and your lover's happiness is the most important goal to get.
